Jacek Dygut is a doctor with enormous experience and great passion. He graduated in Cracow in 1987 as the best student of the year. In the following years he was following the professional levels, winning I (1994) and II (2001) degree of specialization in the field of orthopedics and traumatology surgery. As a surgeon, he helped thousands of patients. It’s enough to mention that he made about 400 total and 700 partial hip replacements and 2,700 assists with joint replacements. He carried out approximately 40 total knee replacements, 3,670 anastomoses of long bones, 7,200 anastomoses of short bones, 384 skin transplants.
Based on a vast experience, Dr. Jacek Dygut worked in the Disability Assessment group in Przemyśl and Rzeszów (1999) as the chairman of the commission. In addition, as a medical examiner, he worked at the State Insurance Institution (1993 – 2003) and the Social Insurance Institution (1995 – 2000).
Since 2001, he has been listed as a court expert – expert in the field of orthopedics and traumatology in the District Court in Krakow, Krosno, Rzeszów and Warsaw.
Bearing in mind that prophylaxis is extremely important in orthopedics
and rehabilitation, constantly expanding his medical knowledge after a few years of training in 2016, he obtained a specialization in the field of medical rehabilitation. To his enormous experience as an orthopedic surgeon, he came across a number of issues related to, among others: neurorehabilitation, oncology, rehabilitation of children with chronic respiratory diseases, HIV infections and AIDS disease, modern trends in prosthetic and upper limb and torso support.
His enormous experience, supported by continuous education, had to meet scientific work in addition to in-depth medical practice. Currently, Dr. Jacek Dygut cooperates in the field of Medical Sciences with the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Poland, gathering considerable achievements. He is the initiator of many project projects, the author of a number of scientific publications and congress reports, as well as the author of orthopedic devices projects included in patent applications.
He is an empathic physician, open-minded and extremely important in listening to reported patients’ problems.
